Guiyang sets Guinness World Record for most people shaking cocktails

A total of 1,835 participants shook cocktails together at the Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Center on Sept 11, setting a new Guinness World Record for the "most people shaking cocktails/mocktails simultaneously".

The organizers recruited challengers from across the country, including citizens, enthusiasts, and industry practitioners.

To ensure every challenger could complete the challenge and master professional bartending skills, the organizing committee provided free training to all applicants who passed the document review, covering flavor pairing, mixing techniques, operational standards, and other professional content, helping challengers take on the Guinness World Record challenge with confidence.

To maximize creative space and accommodate diverse drinking cultures, the event allowed the use of all base spirit categories, letting challengers choose any liquor category as the mixing base and pair it with various flavoring ingredients.

They were also free to combine and create their own cocktails with distinctive flavors, breaking the boundaries of traditional cocktail mixing and showcasing the aesthetics of diverse alcoholic beverage flavors.

This challenge helped accelerate the alcoholic beverage industry's transformation toward a more experience-driven, trend-setting quality lifestyle.
