Kaiyang Economic Development Zone develops with high quality

Kaiyang Economic Development Zone has been advancing enterprise services toward refinement, high-end development, and green development, accelerating the transformation of resources into industrial and economic advantages.

In the first half of 2026, the zone achieved an output value of industries above a designated size of 23.57 billion yuan ($3.49 billion), up 40.02 percent year-on-year; added value of such industries 7.15 billion yuan, up 5.96 percent year-on-year; and industrial investment of 3.13 billion yuan.

Kaiyang Economic Development Zone focuses on two core tracks: phosphorus-fluorine fine chemicals and new energy battery materials, to strengthen industrial chains. Through targeted investment attraction, the zone continues to improve the modern phosphorus chemical industry ecosystem.

Kaiyang Economic Development Zone also implements policies to support enterprise growth, having established and improved a list for enterprise cultivation, with a focus on promoting the development of 11 enterprises.

The zone will continue to deepen learning and education, anchor itself to the core theme of high-quality development, and write a new chapter in the zone's new-type industrialization through practical actions and tangible results.
