The Canola Flower Art and Tourism Festival in Kaiyang county's Hefeng township has opened at Mingde Square and will run until early April.

This year's art and tourism festival showcases a vast sea of canola flowers across Hefeng township. The event combines ethnic customs, intangible cultural heritage (ICH), trendy photo spots, and agricultural experiences, offering visitors a unique springtime tourism feast.
The opening ceremony, set against the backdrop of blooming canola fields, included ICH showcases and a traditional welcome ceremony by the local Bouyei ethnic group. Rice-field art installations and flower-sea photo spots were also established.

Hefeng offers numerous highlights this year: The Xinghe zipline spans 1,314 meters at 52 kilometers per hour, offering a panoramic aerial view of the flower fields, rivers, and ancient villages; coffee carts, camping sites, and specialty markets have been set up in the flower fields; and visitors can cycle along the Shili Hualang, exploring folk culture, selenium-rich tea, and local culinary delights.
