In the past, poor living environments hindered the village's tourism development. However, with the implementation of the "Five Treatments" initiative, which promotes the provision of housing, water, toilets, customs, and garbage disposal, the appearance of Longguang village has significantly improved.
The "Two Cleanups, Two Reforms, and Two Treatments" initiative, which was launched this year, has promoted the cleaning up of disorderly piling and placing, cleaning of dilapidated walls, reforming of toilets and livestock pens, treatment of sewage and garbage, and construction of sanitary households, giving the village a fresh new look.

Longguang village also conducted a comprehensive survey of toilet conditions across all households, determining the appropriate renovation model based on actual conditions, and organizing mutual aid activities for villagers to observe the on-site improvements. So far, the village has completed renovations for 269 households, achieving 98 percent coverage of flush toilets.
The village has focused on mobilizing residents to clean up sewage and silt accumulation in front of and behind their houses, as well as in ditches and ponds, and has improved the sewage disposal system. Currently, six centralized sewage treatment facilities have been built, serving 689 homes, with decentralized facilities serving 116 households. The discharge of domestic sewage has been curbed, the problem of black, odorous water bodies has been alleviated, and the quality of the rural water environment has improved.

Classified garbage bins have been distributed to villagers, centralized garbage collection points have been established, and dedicated sanitation workers have been equipped, enabling daily garbage collection and disposal.
