In September, kiwifruit in Anping village, Fengsan town, Kaiyang county, saw a bountiful harvest.
Farmers are busy picking, sorting, and packing, with looks of joy on their faces. The kiwifruit here, known for its thin skin, juicy and sweet-tart flavor, is highly popular among consumers.
The village utilizes a combination of online and offline sales channels to distribute its kiwifruit nationwide. Fruit buyers purchase kiwifruit at no less than market prices offline; sales are promoted through social media online and delivered directly to consumers via express delivery.
Relying on its favorable environment and selenium-rich soil, Anping has developed a strong kiwifruit industry. Agricultural experts are invited to provide guidance, and scientific, environmentally friendly and green farming methods are employed.
This year, Anping has cultivated over 400 mu (26.67 hectares) of kiwifruit, with an expected output value of approximately 3.4 million yuan ($480,000 million). The village plans to continue developing its specialty fruit industry, focusing on brand enhancement, technology upgrades, and market expansion to drive high-quality industry growth and contribute to rural vitalization.
