The China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025 is now underway, and Kaiyang county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is seizing the moment by embracing the digital economy as a key driver of high-quality development.

The county has accelerated the development of 5G infrastructure, encouraged traditional enterprises to modernize, and promoted the integration of industries such as phosphorus chemicals and agricultural processing with big data and artificial intelligence. These efforts are raising automation, efficiency, and competitiveness.

Agriculture is going digital through a smart farming platform that manages production, processing, and sales across the entire chain. The system enhances product traceability, broadens sales channels, and increases farmers' incomes.

Phosphorus chemical companies are building smart factories that feature automated controls, intelligent energy management, and predictive maintenance to reduce costs and increase output.

New sectors, including e-commerce, cultural creativity, and digital finance, are gaining momentum, with competitions in livestreaming and digital culture festivals sparking fresh innovation.

By participating in the Big Data Expo 2025, Kaiyang is opening up new opportunities and platforms to drive sustainable, high-quality growth.
