The Wengdongtan Waterfall Scenic Area, located in Longgang town, Kaiyang county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has opened to the public. Integrating waterfalls and coffee culture, the site aims to create a leisure destination that blends natural landscapes with urban lifestyles.

The waterfall features two tiers with a total drop of over 100 meters. The scenic area includes a viewing platform and a walkway, allowing visitors to observe the waterfall up close. Additional facilities, such as a suspended rope net, provide adventurous experiences.
Kaiyang has a forest coverage rate of 57.25 percent, selenium-rich soil, and an average summer temperature of 22.3 C, with the local government positioning the area as an ecological tourism destination. The opening of the Wengdongtan Waterfall Scenic Area is expected to enhance the county's tourism offerings and attract more visitors during the summer season.
