In the first half of 2025, Kaiyang county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recorded a GDP of 16.48 billion yuan ($2.3 billion), up 7 percent compared to last year.
Primary industries contributed 2.12 billion yuan (up 5.1 percent), secondary industries 7.74 billion yuan (up 8.9 percent), and tertiary industries 6.62 billion yuan (up 5.4 percent).
