Despite a reduced yield due to an early-season cold snap, this year's honey plums are of exceptional quality. Thanks to the region's favorable natural conditions and careful cultivation, the fruit is sweeter, juicier, and more flavorful than ever.

Local farmer Zhao Zhenggang said that wholesale prices are around 30 yuan per kilogram, with retail prices reaching up to 60 yuan per kilogram. "Demand is strong, and many customers placed their orders well in advance," he said.

In recent years, Miping township has utilized its natural advantages to develop the honey plum industry into a key driver of local income. It plans to further strengthen its specialty agriculture sector, supporting rural vitalization and improving livelihoods.
