According to a recent May Day travel forecast report released by Trip.com, holiday tourism in China this year is marked by three major trends: a surge in long-distance travel, a two-way rise in cross-border tourism, and an increase in the popularity of county-level destinations. Guiyang, along with Taiyuan and Foshan, ranked among the top five cities in hotel booking growth for long-distance travel.
