The 5th China Grain Trade Conference recently kicked off in Zhengzhou, capital of Central China's Henan province.
Titled "Strengthen Industry, Promote Circulation, and Open up a New Situation", the conference aims to boost the grain market and circulation, promote the balance of regional supply and demand, serve local economic development, and help build a high-quality food security system.
The total exhibition area of the conference is 65,000 square meters. About 2,600 exhibitors from all over the country, government delegations, academicians and experts from 31 provinces, municipalities, and regions, large-scale grain-related enterprises, and well-known grain and oil merchants gathered in Zhengzhou to discuss grain-related affairs.
The three-day grain fair focused on the coordination of the whole chain of grain production, purchase, storage, and marketing, and concentrated on displaying the latest achievements in industrial development, such as high-quality grain and oil products, grain and oil machinery and equipment.
Kaiyang county in Guiyang formed a delegation comprising three companies to participate in the conference. The grain and oil products it displayed were well-received by the organizing committee, merchants and visitors, showcasing the county's achievements in producing high-quality grain and creating an oil brand as well as its status as "the hometown of selenium-rich agricultural products in China".
