Huali town in Kaiyang county, as a prominent agricultural town, has been vigorously promoting agricultural modernization in recent years.
In Shizi village of Huali town, the entire process of plowing, planting, management, and harvesting has now been mechanized, greatly saving on labor costs and improving grain production efficiency.
In the past, it took a family half a day to fertilize a field, and the results were often uneven. But now, with mechanization implemented in every step of the process, from cultivation to harvesting, farmers have benefited immensely.
"With the complete mechanization we have now, our workload has significantly lightened. It takes just 15 minutes to spray a field with fertilizers. The rice that grows is of high quality, resistant to lodging, and requires less pesticide use," a local farmer said.
Moving forward, Huali town will regard modernization of agriculture as the driving force behind grain production. It will continue refining technical service systems, introducing modern supporting facilities to comprehensively advance grain mechanization throughout the town, aiming to elevate production efficiency and further safeguard the town's food security.
