Kiwifruit help fuel village's development in Kaiyang

Xinfeng village of Nanmudu town in Kaiyang county has reaped the rewards of cultivating kiwifruit in recent years.

The village has established the Xinfeng Village Joint Stock Economic Cooperative, forming a win-win mechanism of "professional cooperatives + farmers". Through its land shareholding model, the village has planted 100 mu (6.67 hectares) of kiwifruits, and continuously realized a one-stop service of "production, supply and marketing".

In order to further expand the development of its kiwifruit industry, the village has also built a road for its kiwifruit growing base to resolve any issues regarding transportation.

Local villagers have also benefited from the base's development by gaining employment and seeing their income grow.
