Xifeng will continue with urban renovation efforts. It plans to build new infrastructure including one fresh supermarket, five new parking lots and 650 new parking spaces as well as renovate one farmers' market, two shantytowns, one old residential area, 11 back alleys and 43.65 kilometers of urban pipe networks.

Four new sports venues will also be built in an effort to provide all residents with access to fitness facilities within a 15-minute walk of their home. The county will also create five towns featuring beautiful natural scenery to improve the local environment.

Additionally, the bureau will accelerate improvements to the preliminary procedures for three projects looking to obtain special funds for new urbanization, including two affordable rental house projects and one old residential area and supporting infrastructure construction project.
