Loquat planting drives Lihua's rural vitalization

Loquat planting has driven the rural vitalization of Lihua town in Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

To date, the town has planted 8,400 mu (560 hectares) of loquat trees, all of which have begun bearing fruit.

The loquats produced there are very popular among consumers because of their large size, juicy and sweet taste, easy peeling, as well as soft and tender flesh.

Currently, loquats are entering the picking season, generating decent incomes for locals.
