Kaiyang county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently introduced its flower-viewing tips throughout the year.
This year's Kaiyang flower viewing season has three major characteristics:
The first is its large scale, with the flower-planting area in Kaiyang exceeding 10,000 mu.
This year's flower viewing spots are located in the eastern, southern and central parts of Kaiyang, and include the rapeseed flower sea in Shili Hualang scenic spot, the four-season flower sea landscape in Nanjiang flower valley, the Miping peach garden and the plum garden.
The second feature is the long flower-viewing cycle.
In Kaiyang, since the end of February, peach blossoms and plum blossoms have been blooming one after another.
In March, rapeseed flowers race against time to catch up.
From April to October, various seasonal flowers such as asters, sunflowers, and tulips begin bursting to life.
The third feature is many ways to enjoy the flowers.
This flower viewing season, Kaiyang has prepared a series of flower-viewing activities, some of the more notable of which are air gliding, blind dating in the sea of flowers, homestay experience, lantern display, tent music festivals, farm market experience, and fruit picking.
