From January to December 2022, Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, achieved a general public financial budget revenue of 1.13 billion yuan ($161.20 million), an increase of 99.04 million yuan from 2021.
Of which, tax revenue reached 826.88 million yuan. This is an increase of 168.23 million yuan, or 25.54 percent based on the same period in 2021.
Meanwhile, the non-tax revenue of Kaiyang was 307.83 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 18.35 percent.
In addition, in 2022, the county's general public budget expenditures totaled 3.92 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 712.91 million yuan.
The county's expenditures on social security and employment, education, agriculture, forestry, water, sanitation and health, transportation, housing security, and other aspects reached 3.20 billion yuan, accounting for 81.54 percent of the general public budget expenditure.
