Due to such efforts, the output value of agricultural product processing in the county has reached 9 billion yuan ($1.28 billion), and the conversion rate of agricultural product processing stands at 60 percent.

Additionally, in order to increase local incomes, Kaiyang formulated the "Kaiyang County 2022 Action Plan for Cultivating New Types of Agricultural Business Entities".

To date, Kaiyang has cultivated 25 leading enterprises above the municipal level, 254 farmers' professional cooperatives, and 445 family farms.

A total of 86,000 farmers from 25,200 households are engaged in agriculture in the county, and they have increased their incomes by an average of 3,600 yuan.
