A total of 23 old residential communities in Kaiyang county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have been renovated or upgraded in a bid to improve the living environment for residents.
The renovation work is said to have benefited residents from 1,126 households.
The old residential community renovation includes roof waterproofing, corridor renovation, line rectification, exterior wall renovation, and the upgrading of community roads, parking lots, retaining walls and fire escapes, to improve the quality of urban services.
