Art created in paddy fields in Hefeng township in Kaiyang county in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has recently entered the sightseeing season.
The large paddy field paintings are composed of rice in three different colors.

They show patterns such as granaries, Tiananmen Square, and Huabiao (an ornamental marble pillar used to decorate important buildings in ancient China), as well as Chinese characters stating "Welcome to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China" and "abundant harvest".
Information from Hefeng township indicates that the paddy field paintings will last until early September.
