Kaiyang county – administered by Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – is moving to boost its economic and social development in the current year, according to a new plan which has been released.
Under the plan, the county will undertake more initiatives and take action to increase the number of new projects settling and starting up operation, attract more investment and facilitate the revitalization of its industry.
Measures will be made to improve management of the entire procedure of attracting and bringing in projects. The county will push to accelerate improvement of industry, infrastructure and industrial park support facilities – while focusing on the needs of industrial development.
Meanwhile, Kaiyang will extend technological innovation, management innovation and mechanism innovation. It will also establish think tanks, adjust and optimize the structure of its workforce, and implement plans to boost training.
Furthermore, the county intends to speed up the coordinated development of its agricultural and tourism industries, as well as boost its rural revitalization.
