The new Weng'an-Kaiyang Expressway, which is soon to be opened – located in Southwest China's Guizhou province – recently got the green light from the Guizhou Provincial Government to set up five toll stations along the route.
The toll stations will be located at Gaojian, Zhongping Town, Kaiyang East, Miping and Kaiyang North, respectively.
It is reported that the tolling period of the expressway is 30 years – running from Dec 31 in 2021 to Dec 30, 2051.

The Weng'an-Kaiyang Expressway connects the Yinchuan-Baise Expressway in Weng'an county with the Lanzhou-Haikou Expressway in Kaiyang county. It has a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour and accommodates four lanes.
When opened to traffic, which is scheduled to be in late December this year, it will shorten the driving distance between Kaiyang and Weng'an from 110.8 kilometers to 48.52 km, while the travel time will be shortened from 1 hour and 41 minutes to just 46 minutes.
