According to local media reports, the completion ceremony for Guaiwanghe Bridge on Keji Avenue was held on Jan 30 in Kaiyang county of Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Officials from the county's government and the bridge's builders participated in the ceremony.
Wang Qiyun, Party secretary of the county, announced the bridge's completion at the event. Meanwhile, Li Huaan, vice general manager of Shanghai transport municipal company of China MCC5 Group Corp Ltd, gave a brief introduction to the project.
The bridge is a key part of Keji Avenue and stretches from west to east in Kaiyang. The road project serves as a link connecting Kaiyang's economic development zone and its downtown area, playing a significant role in driving the city's economic development.
During construction, builders overcame various difficulties in constructing the avenue's bridge and tunnel and successfully implemented the use of C55 high-performance concrete in the highway's structure.
