Villagers harvest celery at the vegetable supply base in Dajing village of Longgang town, Kaiyang county, Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province. The village is now in the process of harvesting winter vegetables such as broccoli and celery. Through a development model of "companies + village cooperatives + peasant households", the village has provided annual employment to more than 400,000 people, paying more than 8 million yuan ($1.24 million) to workers. A total of 565 mu (37.67 hectares) of broccoli and 65 mu of celery were planted this season. [Photo/gywb.cn]
