Gypsum powder project goes into production in Kaiyang county

The first phase of Guizhou Linfa's construction-grade gypsum powder project went into production on Jan 5 at the economic development zone in Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Guizhou Linfa is a company that specializes in environmental protection material technology, and it launched the project in Kaiyang in 2020.

With a total investment of 120 million yuan ($18.55 million), the factory project has a planned annual production capacity of 600,000 metric tons of gypsum powder. The first phase of the project has gone into operation and has a designed production capacity of 300,000 tons.

After completing the project, it will have an annual output value of about 100 million yuan and provide job opportunities for 40 people.

In recent years, Kaiyang county has been promoting ecological development, focusing on the technical transformation and upgrading of its traditional phosphorus coal chemical enterprises.

The county has also increased investment in the ardealite comprehensive utilization industry.
