The renovated and expanded fever clinic in Kaiyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine was recently put into use in Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
It was built to improve the ability and level of normalized epidemic prevention and control measures, in line with relevant municipal and provincial departments' requirements.
The fever clinic has a total area of about 1,100 square meters. It is set up following strict specifications and includes a pre-check triage area, a fever clinic area and an observation ward.

The pre-check area has a working room and a fever patient observation room, equipped with an infrared body temperature detector that can quickly detect fever patients. Also, to address sudden changes in fever patients' conditions during treatment, specialized rescue rooms have been set up to offer 24/7 support.
The renovated fever clinic has more reasonable zoning, faster shunting speed, more efficient diagnosis and treatment, and can achieve rapid screening to identify infected individuals.
Additionally, the hospital has also established a "one-stop" service system integrating pre-inspection, registration, payment, diagnosis and treatment, dispensing, laboratory testing and isolation observation to optimize service procedures.
