Kaiyang establishes Selenium-enriched tea industry federation

The Kaiyang Selenium-enriched Tea Industry Federation was established on Nov 29 in Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

A nameplate unveiling ceremony was held the same day, gathering county government officials and tea enterprise representatives.

The federation's primary duties include connecting products and market supply and demand exchange channels, striving to improve the local tea industry's industrialization level, and realizing the tea industry's standardized construction.

The federation will also be tasked with guiding tea consumption, improving Kaiyang tea quality and market share, and providing opinions and suggestions for government departments.

The establishment of the federation is of great significance for integrating the tea industry's resources in Kaiyang county and promoting the efficiency of tea enterprises. 

It also plays an essential role in increasing farmers' incomes and promoting rural economic development and revitalization.
